Les d\u00e9fenseurs reconnaissaient que le sucre en exc\u00e8s est dangereux mais n&rsquo;acceptaient pas l&rsquo;extrapolation disant que toutes les boissons sucr\u00e9es sont dangereuses. D\u00e9bat complexe, mais une chose est s\u00fbre\u2026 le sucre est addictif, et d&rsquo;autant plus quand il est cach\u00e9 dans l&rsquo;alimentation qui ne devrait pas en contenir comme le pain, le jambon, les petits pois\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 en croire l\u2019\u00e9tude tr\u00e8s s\u00e9rieuse publi\u00e9e lundi dans \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/circ.ahajournals.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Circulation<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb, les sodas et autres boissons sucr\u00e9es seraient une cause de mortalit\u00e9 non n\u00e9gligeable chez les jeunes adultes dans les pays pauvres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les chiffres sont effrayants :<\/strong><br \/>\n133 000 morts via le diab\u00e8te, 45 000 \u00e0 cause de pathologies cardiovasculaires et 6 450 de cancers. En plus du sucre, les boissons nord-am\u00e9ricaines, comprenant du glucose-fructose, entra\u00eenent une r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l&rsquo;insuline et un stockage de graisses au niveau du foie. De nombreuses h\u00e9patopathies non alcooliques en d\u00e9coulent et peuvent conduire \u00e0 une cirrhose sans avoir bu une goutte d&rsquo;alcool et m\u00eame des cancers du foie.<\/p>\n<p>Toujours selon l\u2019\u00e9tude, <strong>la France compterait moins de 2 000 d\u00e9c\u00e8s par an<\/strong>, li\u00e9s aux sodas. Le palmar\u00e8s le plus \u00e9loquent reste le Mexique (25\u00a0000\/an), bien loin devant les \u00c9tats-Unis. (24\u00a0000\/an). Le Japon a un taux tr\u00e8s faible.<\/p>\n<p>Cette \u00e9tude est la premi\u00e8re au niveau mondial. \u00ab\u00a0<em>De nombreux pays enregistrent un nombre \u00e9lev\u00e9 de d\u00e9c\u00e8s r\u00e9sultant d\u2019un seul facteur di\u00e9t\u00e9tique \u00e0 savoir les sodas et autres boissons fruit\u00e9es ou sucr\u00e9es comme les th\u00e9s glac\u00e9s, dont une forte r\u00e9duction de la consommation ou leur \u00e9limination devrait \u00eatre une priorit\u00e9 plan\u00e9taire\u00a0<\/em>\u00bb nous informe l\u2019auteur principal de l\u2019\u00e9tude, le Dr Dariush Mozaffarian, doyen de la facult\u00e9 des sciences de la nutrition \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Tufts \u00e0 Boston (Massachusetts).<\/p>\n<p><strong>M\u00e9thode d\u2019enqu\u00eate\u00a0:<\/strong><br \/>\nCette \u00e9tude estime la consommation de boissons \u00e0 partir de 62 enqu\u00eates di\u00e9t\u00e9tiques portant sur un \u00e9chantillon de 611.971 personnes entre 1980 et 2010 r\u00e9parties sur 51 pays. Pour ceux dont la question br\u00fble les l\u00e8vres\u00a0: les jus de fruits press\u00e9s naturels (mais n\u00e9anmoins tr\u00e8s sucr\u00e9s) n\u2019ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9s, et c&rsquo;est dommage car un litre de jus de fruits peut avoir les m\u00eames taux de sucre qu&rsquo;un verre de boisson gazeuse sucr\u00e9e.
